Detail:Our "Call for light" is a collaborative showcase with Portland and Incarcerated Artists. We aim to raise awareness and bring support to Oregons’ prison population and their families through the holidays and our long, cold winters.

We have asked Local artists to shed light on incarcerated artists through illumination themed work — Portland Artwork will be partnered with the art we receive through our Prison Outreach Program.

We are also partnering with a network of support programs including:

Bridgeworks Oregon (Sponsorship Partner),  The Girl Scouts Beyond Bars , Growing Gardens.Org , Rose City Book Pub The Last Prisoner Project

We will be serving light food, vegan options, and non-alcoholic drinks and hosting the families of the incarcerated during our opening.  We will also be collecting messages of support for our artists and cash donations for the incarcerated and their families.

*All donations will go to the families and the Inside Artists
Cash or Venmo only. Please no gift cards or physical items.

Artists who would like to submit work the show please visit our Call For Entry:
